Jaxon Stewart (West Track Club, WA) has been selected as part of the Australian team to compete in the U18 Men’s Decathlon & U18 Javelin at the Oceania Athletics Championships held in Fiji, 1^st – 9^th June 2024.

Training for 10 events with 5 coaches, along with weekly personal training and gym sessions, recovery sessions, combined with completing Yr11 and Diploma of Sport studies, leaves very little time for Jaxon to hold a job or be a regular 16 year old teenager. Jaxon has many State and National titles to his name, in addition to Club and State records. His dedication to athletics is immeasurable.

Jaxon is raising funds to cover the cost of his trip to the competition which are estimated at $5.5K, this includes return flights from Perth to Fiji, accommodation with the Australian team and general expenses for the competition.

In the AMAZING event that this goal is exceeded, additional funds will be held in trust for Jaxon to use for future sporting events or towards equipment, such as a new javelin (~$2K) or a series of pole vaults (~$15K), all of which will assist him attaining his next major goal; representing Australia in the 2026 U20 World Athletics Championships held in Oregon, USA.
